According to rumors that have been appearing for some time now, Chet “Chet” Singh and Damian “daps” Steele met again under the NRG flag. However, this time it is not in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but in the latest Riot Games title, VALORANT.

The fact that the American decided to change the game was already known for several days. “Today I am finishing my career in professional CS:GO. I’ve been thinking about it for some time. Maybe one day I will come back because this game has done a lot of good for me. More information in the coming days,” he wrote last Monday when he suddenly said goodbye to 100 Thieves.

And already then there was a lot of talk about the next step in his career being VALORANT. However, the confirmation of these revelations we received only today. Together with him, a member of the newly formed section of the NRG also became daps, who already worked with Sing between August 2018 and July 2019 on the CS:GO scene.

Since December 2019, the experienced Canadian was associated with Gen.G Esports, with whom he won the DreamHacka Open in Anaheim, among others. However, the lack of subsequent progress made the 27-year-old land on the reserve bench in September to terminate his contract after a short time. Now he will have a chance to return to regular play.

However, the process of building a new lineup, of which only daps and Chet are a part of this moment, has to be completed earlier. Interestingly, recently RushBMedia admitted that according to his information, Steele is not to be the only player associated with Gen.G that will go under NRG’s wings. A well-known service admitted that Sam “s0m” Oh was also on the target of the organization, although at this moment there are no reports confirming this move — we also don’t know the names of other players who could potentially join the team.

In this situation the composition of NRG in VALORANT is as follows:

  • Damian “daps” Steele
  • Chet “Chet” Singh – coach
